The staff of Buddha Shrawaka Caring Centre will consist of a thriving, mature, creative and humble youth task force with a sound knowledge of social and religious background. Ven. B Sri Saranankara Nayaka Maha Thero is the Spiritual advisor for this noble cause with other members taking leading positions as Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and project manager. Since this project is staffed by an army of all talents the end result of this noble endeavor will be up to ethical standards.

The fact that I am experiencing the above words of Buddha in practice is that I have seen both laymen and clergy suffering from cancer and it is one of the main reasons to make Lord Buddha’s preaching a reality. My father passed away 16 years ago due to cancer. My mother was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago and is still residing with me in the temple premises while getting treatments from the Apeksha Hospital. Due to this reason, I cordially invite all my fellow friends, both local and international to provide strength to me in this vital role to attend cancer- stricken monks and nuns in the Sangha community. It is our utmost duty to commit to Buddha’s preaching. Therefore, I appreciate the commitment of all the members including the Spiritual Advisor to the Center, Ven. B Sri Saranankara Nayaka Maha Thero and Board of Directors. My main aim is to make this noble cause a success and I wish for the attention of virtuous people.
